Description

What kind of wine is it

Tiradoss Bianco by LAstemia Pentita is a white wine produced in the Langhe from a blend of Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling, Viognier grapes and the local Nascetta variety. This wine represents an experimental selection that combines international grape varieties with a solid local base and defines a distinctive style. The result is a fresh and delicate white characterized by good minerality and a clear aromatic profile, able to best express the unique features of the grapes used.

Where it comes from

Tiradoss Bianco originates in the Langhe region, in Piedmont. This wine area is known for the vocation of its soils, capable of offering different expressions depending on the producer’s interpretation. In this context, LAstemia Pentita has created a project that brings together a local variety with non-local grapes to firmly maintain its geographical identity. Its origin is reflected in the glass, designed to highlight its crisp freshness and prominent mineral component.

How it is made

Vinification begins with a short period of cold maceration of the grapes, a technique aimed at early aromatic extraction before actual processing. This is followed by gentle pressing and then fermentation in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, ideal for preserving clean aromas. Subsequently, the wine matures through aging in steel for six months. The entire process favors a linear profile that ensures fragrance and integrity of the varietal characteristics.

Tasting notes

Visually, the wine shows a brilliant straw yellow color consistent with maturation in steel. The nose opens with intense boxwood and tomato leaf notes enriched by hints of grapefruit and passion fruit. On the palate, it is delicate and smooth, enhanced by a distinctive salinity that accentuates its drinkability. The finish preserves the pleasant citrus and vegetal notes already perceived, offering a clean and well-defined ending.

Food pairings

This wine naturally pairs well with light appetizers, as it enhances not overly elaborate dishes thanks to its fresh and savory profile. Its subtle character makes it particularly suitable for starter courses where it is essential to keep the palate refreshed and ready for the following dishes. At the table, it finds perfect harmony with simple preparations and proves to be an excellent aperitif, guaranteeing the right balance between aromatic intensity and great drinkability.

When to serve it

Tiradoss Bianco is the ideal choice when you want a straightforward wine, perfect for kicking off the evening or for more informal settings. Thanks to its delicate style and stainless-steel aging, it is best enjoyed young, when the aromatic component stands out sharply. This wine offers an experience focused on freshness with each sip and maintains a consistently balanced structure. Its overall equilibrium and varietal vitality invite you to enjoy it without prolonged aging, favoring immediacy and purity.
