Description

Langhe Nebbiolo Sabaudo is made exclusively from Nebbiolo grapes, grown in the vineyards of the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. The clay and limestone soils give the wine a deeply expressive character. The label could not be more eloquent and features Camillo Benso Conte di Cavour, the great statesman from Turin and a leading figure of the Italian Risorgimento.

Immediately after harvest, the grapes are crushed and left to ferment in steel, then aged for 14 months in large Slavonian and French oak barrels.

The wine displays a bright ruby red color and offers pleasant aromas of ripe red fruit, dominated by majestic currant and plum notes. On the palate, it is bold, full of character, and boasts a great personality: excellent persistence and a long finish.

It is the ideal wine to nobly accompany all meat-based dishes. A must-try with chestnuts.
