Description

What kind of wine it is

Bonconsey's Trento Brut Riserva is a Traditional Method sparkling wine produced in Trentino. It is made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown in Vallagarina, an area ideal for this variety. It undergoes white vinification at a controlled temperature followed by bottle fermentation. Aging on the lees for 36 months shapes a harmonious style, offering a fresh and full taste profile.

Where it comes from

The grapes grow on the high hills of Vallagarina, an area of Trentino renowned for producing Trento denomination wines. This terroir offers optimum conditions for Chardonnay and ensures an expression of remarkable finesse. The altitude provides a balanced profile, essential for the Traditional Method. The strong connection with the territory is immediately evident in the distinctive aromatic purity.

How it is made

Production begins with white vinification at a controlled temperature, essential for preserving the richness of the must. The base wine then undergoes secondary fermentation in bottle through the Traditional Method to achieve an elegant effervescence. The maturation on the lees lasts 36 months and gives the wine notable structure. This long aging achieves an extremely refined taste balance.

Tasting notes

In the glass, it displays a straw yellow color with golden reflections and a persistent perlage. The nose combines fruity notes with hints of bread crust and yeast, developed during its lengthy aging. On the palate, it is fresh, full, and remarkably harmonious. The lingering finish ensures a clean closure, beautifully balanced by the fine and pleasant effervescence.

Food pairings

Its excellent versatility makes it suitable for every course and perfect alongside various seafood appetizers. Its harmonious structure and precise freshness particularly enhance shellfish recipes, where the persistent perlage balances the tender meat. Its good structure allows pairing with more substantial dishes, demonstrating that simple seafood cuisine is the best choice for this label.

Serving occasions

It is ideal on many occasions and proves an excellent companion from aperitif to table. Its fresh character and balanced taste ensure a good flow throughout the meal. It is an excellent choice for seafood lunches, where prolonged aging elegantly supports every bite. It can be confidently served whenever you desire a harmonious sip that combines technical finesse with unfailing drinkability.
