Description

What kind of wine is it?

Brut Perlè produced by Ferrari is a Trento sparkling wine made exclusively from Chardonnay grapes. Its clean and well-structured profile comes from careful aging on the lees. The production follows the Traditional Method and includes extended bottle maturation. This process gives the wine a fine perlage and a structured character with fruity notes and hints of bread crust.

Where does it come from?

The grapes are sourced from the vineyards of Trentino located on high hillsides in areas with great winemaking tradition. The location and strict selection of parcels allow the Chardonnay to achieve a strong balance between freshness and ripeness. The mountain terroir, characterized by slopes and high altitudes, shapes the style towards a marked aromatic precision. This origin ensures a clear taste tension and a recognizable varietal imprint.

How is it produced?

The wine is made from hand-harvested grapes around mid-September. Production faithfully follows the principles of the Traditional Method with maturation on the lees for about five years. This aging decisively contributes to its structure and aromatic definition, as the time in bottle harmoniously integrates fruity aromas with nuances of baking and offers a dry taste consistent with the Brut style.

Tasting notes

In the glass, it displays an inviting straw yellow color with subtle golden highlights. The intense bouquet is marked by almond blossom and Renetta apple, accompanied by light spicy notes and hints of bread crust. On the palate it is clean and distinguished by a very long elegant softness. The sip reveals ripe apple, hints of sweet almond and yeast on an aromatic background typical of Chardonnay.

Pairings

This sparkling wine easily accompanies appetizers, cured meats, and delicate or savory first courses. Its versatility makes it suitable for fish recipes, shellfish, and sushi, and it also shows balance with white meats and fresh cheeses. A highly recommended pairing is with seafood risotto, where the marine flavors meld beautifully with the characteristic yeast and apple notes of the wine.

When to serve it

The versatility of this sparkling wine makes it ideal when looking for a refined glass, perfect from aperitif to full meal. The aging process transforms it into an excellent choice for curated occasions where cleanliness and aromatic persistence are appreciated. It is clearly expressed alongside light fish dishes, while its innate elegance and lingering finish allow it to harmoniously accompany a broader table.
