Description

This Italian Red Wine, produced by the Salsedine winery, is born in Puglia from the harmonious union of Primitivo and Negroamaro grapes, two iconic local varieties that best express the warm and generous character of the region. The combination of these varieties gives the wine an intense and enveloping personality, successfully balancing structure and drinkability, making it suitable for a variety of occasions.

The vinification process involves fermentation followed by malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks, which helps to soften the acidity and develop greater aromatic complexity. Aging takes place in French and American oak barrels for an extended period, further enriching the wine’s profile with elegant spicy notes and a more harmonious structure.

On appearance, it shows a deep, intense ruby red color. The nose reveals a wide and complex bouquet, characterized by fruity hints of plum and cherry jam, accompanied by notes of tobacco and cocoa. On the palate it is full-bodied and well-balanced, with elegant tannins and a long, persistent finish recalling nuances of pepper, coffee, and vanilla.

Perfect when paired with aged cheeses, flavorful first courses, red meats, and spiced dishes.
