The Maremma is a wine-growing area that has experienced a significant resurgence in recent years, thanks to its extraordinary pedological and climatic characteristics. Overlooking the Tyrrhenian Sea, it is protected to the northwest by the Colline Metallifere and to the northeast by the Monte Amiata massif, thus benefiting from a particularly favorable microclimate: mild winters and breezy, never torrid summers. The territory extends from the Livorno area to the Grosseto area, spanning both the Alta Maremma (noted for its coastal hills and proximity to the Bolgheri village) and the Bassa Maremma, covering much of the Grosseto province, one of the largest in Italy.

This vast area includes denominations that reflect the richness and diversity of the territory, such as the DOC Bolgheri in the northern part, the DOC Maremma Toscana in the Grosseto area, and the broader IGT Costa Toscana, which allows for greater expressive freedom in winemaking. In particular, the Maremma Toscana has undergone significant developments with the introduction of new aging rules and the expansion of allowed varieties, indicative of a continuous pursuit of quality and innovation.

This land, nestled between the sea and hills, today represents one of the most dynamic realities in the Italian wine scene, capable of offering intense, elegant wines deeply linked to their origin.
