Where is the Rhône Valley located?

The Rhône Valley is located in the southeast of France, stretching along the Rhône River from the city of Lyon to the Mediterranean Sea. The main AOC appellations are: Hermitage, Crozes-Hermitage, Côte-Rôtie, Cornas, St.-Joseph, Condrieu, and Château-Grillet. Côte-Rôtie and Hermitage are the most famous.

Southern Rhône: This area is famous for its robust and spicy red wines, often made from a blend of grapes such as Grenache, Syrah, and Mourvèdre.
