Description
The Gewurztraminer Steingrubler from Domaine Albert Mann is an aromatic white wine produced in Wettolsheim, Alsace, on marl-limestone-sandstone soils. The vines, with an average age of about 30 years, are cultivated following biodynamic principles, in a terroir that promotes aromatic concentration, freshness, and great balance.
Made from pure Gewurztraminer grapes, the wine is carefully vinified to preserve the varietal intensity and the natural roundness of the grape. The winemaking aims for a balance between smoothness, freshness, and depth, resulting in a velvety wine of great elegance, capable of combining expressive power and gustatory finesse.
On the nose, it opens with intense aromas of pineapple, mango, sweet spices, and an exotic touch. The palate is soft and silky, with persistent notes of lychee, pepper, and ripe fruit. The harmony between freshness and sweetness, combined with a fine and velvety structure, makes this wine immediately enjoyable and easy to digest.
Perfect pairing with seared duck foie gras on spiced citrus bread, lamb tagine with prunes and raisins, or fruit tarts with apricots.
