Description

La Groletta Amarone della Valpolicella from Allegrini's Corte Giara line originates from vineyards located on the hills of Fumane, in the province of Verona.

It is made from hand-picked and selected Corvina Veronese and Rondinella grapes, harvested in the second half of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature ranging from 8-22°C for approximately 22-24 days. Subsequently, the wine ages for 5 months in the same tanks, 15 months in wood, and a further 6 months in the bottle.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color. On the nose, it opens with pleasant aromas of red fruits, enriched by spicy notes of pepper, cloves, and tobacco. On the palate, it is full and enveloping, with balanced acidity and pleasantly soft tannins.

Perfect for accompanying dishes based on red meats, braised dishes, and game, this wine is ideal paired with matured cheeses or as a meditation wine.
