Description
This Amarone comes to life from the vineyards located north of Verona, in the production area of Valpolicella.
The result of a blend of Corvina, Rondinella and Corvinone grapes, left to dry in the lofts until January. Fermentation takes place slowly, with a period of maceration in contact with the skins. Aging in oak barrels follows for at least 24 months.
In the glass it has a deep garnet red color. The olfactory sensations are reminiscent of cherry jam and cinnamon, enriched with notes of vanilla and coffee. On the palate it is soft, full-bodied and well structured.
Excellent with first courses served with elaborate truffle sauces, it goes well with braised meats, grilled meats and aged cheeses.
