Amarone della Valpolicella Classico DOCG Il Bosco 2017 Cesari
Description
The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico Il Bosco di Cesari was born in vineyards located in the hamlet of Castelrotto di San Pietro in Cariano, in the province of Verona.
It is mainly produced with Corvina grapes and a small part of Rondinella grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration in contact with the skins for 20-30 days, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for 24 months in French oak barrels and in large Slovenian oak barrels, before being bottled.
The Amarone della Valpolicella Classico il Bosco di Cesari is characterized by an intense ruby red color with purple reflections. The nose opens with the characteristic set of notes of cherry, spices, cocoa and bitter almonds. On the palate it is warm and velvety, pleasantly full and elegant.
Perfect to accompany red meats, game and mature cheeses, this Amarone is ideal for accompanying moments of relaxation and meditation.
