Description
The Barbera d'Alba Superiore of the Luigi Pira winery was born on the hills of Serralunga d'Alba, in the hills of the Langhe. The winery was founded in the 1950s by Luigi and Rosa Pira. Today it is run by his sons, who manage 13 hectares of vineyards.
The Barbera grapes are vinified in thermo-controlled steel tanks. Subsequently the wine ages in Slavonian oak barrels for 12 months.
Intense ruby red in color, it has aromas of wild berries and spices. The sip is structured, enveloping and with a long finish.
To be combined with roast beef and grilled meat and sausages.
