Barbera del Monferrato Frizzante DOC La Monella 2019 Braida

Barbera del Monferrato La Monella di Braida comes from vineyards located in the municipalities of Rocchetta Tanaro and Costigliole d'Asti, in Piedmont.

It is produced with 100% Barbera grapes, harvested and selected only by hand. Fermentation takes place, with maceration on the skins, in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature for 10 days. After a 4-month aging in steel, the second fermentation takes place in an autoclave, according to the Charmat Method, with bottle aging for about 2 months.

La Monella di Braida has a bright purplish ruby red color. The nose opens with an enveloping vinous perfume, with evident hints of red fruit. On the palate it is lively, full-bodied and soft, pleasantly fresh.

Perfect in combination with cold cuts appetizers and first courses in general, this sparkling red wine is ideal to accompany boiled, mixed grilled, roasted and stewed red meats.
