Description

The Barolo DOCG Casa E. di Mirafiore has established itself as one of the great Piedmontese classics.

The assembly of the best Nebbiolo grapes, selected in different vineyards, is the basis of this great red wine, completed by a long maceration on the skins and a 2-year ageing in medium and large capacity oak barrels.

The result in the glass is a classic-style Barolo, with a scent reminiscent of nutmeg, bay leaf, black pepper, with hints of ripe red fruit and licorice. An important and structured red on the palate, with powerful and harmonious tannins and a very fresh acidity that favours a very long finish.

A great red ideal for important combinations, grilled and stewed red meats and long-aged cheeses such as Parmesan and Castelmagno.
