Description
This Premier Cru white wine from Domaine Jacques Prieur was born in the 0.54 hectare vineyard on the outskirts of Beaune.
It is made entirely of Chardonnay grapes, which are softly pressed. The must rests for 36 hours at a controlled temperature, before being fermented in oak barrels, where the wine subsequently remains to refine for 17 months.
Straw yellow with golden reflections. On the nose it offers hints of lemon, toast and coffee. The sip is fresh and tense, with a thirst-quenching finish.
To pair with shellfish appetizers and grilled fish.
