Boca DOC Vigna Cristiana 2013 Podere Ai Valloni

This Boca del Podere Ai Valloni comes to life from grapes coming exclusively from the 50-year-old vineyard of Vigna Cristiana, located between the municipalities of Boca and Prato Sesia, in the Traversagna area.

The Nebbiolo grapes at the base of this label are supported by Vespolina and Uva Rara. After careful selection of the bunches, the alcoholic fermentation continues for a period of 7–9 days. The ageing lasts for 3 years in oak barrels.

It is presented in the glass of intense ruby red colour with garnet reflections. The aromas are elegant and fragrant, reminiscent of floral hints of dried rose, aromas of spices, grapefruit and red fruits. The taste is harmonious, with well integrated tannins and a long persistence.

Perfect to combine with first courses and risottos, it is an excellent source for red meat main courses, cured meats and aged cheeses.
