Description

Bolgheri Bianco Campo al Faro is born in the heart of the magical Bolgheri terroir, in Castagneto Carducci, where the seasons always bear the scent of summer, sea breeze, and opportunities waiting to be seized.

It is produced from a blend in which 70% Vermentino grapes are matched by 30% Viognier grapes. The harvest is carried out separately for the two varieties, with the Vermentino picked in the first ten days of September and the Viognier in the last days of August. Fermentation follows in stainless steel vats at low temperatures and bottling takes place in the first days of January.

It displays a beautiful straw yellow color with slight greenish hues. The bouquet is intense and complex, with notes of white-fleshed fruit like banana and pear, enriched by citrus and floral hints on the finish. On the palate, it is fresh and harmonious, with a pleasantly savory, mineral, and persistent sip.

Recommended with fish appetizers and tartare, it pairs beautifully with fried seafood and braised white meats.
