Bordeaux Supérieur AOC La Réserve de Sergolle 2017 Baron de Sergolle

La Réserve de Sergolle is a Bordeaux Supérieur produced with low yields per hectare from the best grapes of the Gironde. The old Mill of Sergolle recalls the areas reached by the Atlantic influence for an expressive and elegant wine.

The Merlot and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes are harvested by hand, and then aged in stainless steel and concrete tanks for a minimum of ten months following the Bordeaux tradition.

Intense ruby red with garnet reflections, it returns hints of plum and cherry, notes of nettle and wild herbs, with hints of rhubarb, graphite and spicy spices. Dense and harmonious on the palate, it expresses great structure, gentle tannins and balance between the fruit and the vibrant acidic texture.

It is ideal with game dishes, grilled meats and excellent with first courses with meat sauce.
