Description

Brunello di Montalcino San Giovanni Battista by Leonardo da Vinci comes from vineyards located on the hills of Montalcino and is part of the "I Capolavori" line.

The wine is made from 100% Sangiovese grapes. The grapes are fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks with maceration on the skins for 20-25 days. The wine is aged in Slavonian oak barrels for at least 30 months, followed by 6 months in bottle.

In the glass, the wine shows a ruby red color with garnet highlights. On the nose, it offers notes of blackberry, blackcurrant, cherry, and spices. The palate is full, structured, and persistent.

San Giovanni Battista pairs excellently with red meats, game, and aged cheeses.
