Description
Cannonau di Sardegna from the Òrriu di Quartomoro selection comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Dorgali, in the province of Nuoro.
It is produced exclusively with Cannonau grapes, manually harvested in boxes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a maximum temperature of 30 ° C, with maceration in contact with the skins for 7 days. Subsequently the wine ages for 6 months in steel and in barrique, and for a further 6 months in bottle before being marketed.
This Cannonau di Sardegna has an average deep red color, tending to orange with evolution. The nose opens with a complex bouquet, made of spicy, fruity and balsamic notes in perfect harmony. On the palate it is soft and enveloping, with a good length.
Perfect to accompany meat-based first courses and peasant legume soups, this red wine is ideal in combination with stewed or barbecued meat main courses and with mature cheeses.
