Description
Cerasuolo d'Abruzzo Fantini Farnese comes from vineyards located in the municipality of Ortona, in the province of Chieti.
It is made from native red grapes, harvested at the beginning of October and subjected to a short pre-fermentation maceration of 6 hours in contact with the skins to achieve the desired color shade. Fermentation then takes place without the skins in steel for 15 days.
It presents a cherry pink color. On the nose, it offers intense aromas of small red fruits, with a particularly vivid hint of strawberry. On the palate, it is a balanced wine, with good structure and persistence.
Excellent with all fish dishes, it pairs well with white meats but can also be served chilled as a delicious aperitif.
