Description

Petronilla is a Cerasuolo d’Abruzzo from the Orlandi Contucci Ponno winery, made from native grapes grown on gentle south/south-west facing slopes, at an altitude of 200 meters, in silty-clay soils. This Abruzzo rosé combines structure and freshness in a traditional and straightforward style.

After a gentle pressing, the free-run juice remains briefly in contact with the skins and ferments in stainless steel at a controlled temperature. The aging continues for a few months before bottling at the beginning of the year.

The color is clear cherry pink. On the nose, there are aromas of red fruits and fresh flowers, while the palate is balanced, fresh, with notes of cherry, sour cherry, and prickly pear, for a clean and flavorful finish.

Perfect with light first courses and fish soups, thanks to its versatility and liveliness.
