Champagne Brut Rosé Vintage 2011 Louis Roederer
Description
Louis Roederer's Champagne Brut Rosé Vintage comes from vineyards located in Cumières, a French town in the famous Champagne-Ardenne region.
It is obtained from Pinot Noir and Chardonnay grapes harvested and selected only by hand. After the classic vinification processes, carried out in part in wooden barrels, the second fermentation takes place according to the Classic Method, by refermentation in the bottle, with an aging of about 48 months on its lees and at least 6 months in bottle after disgorgement.
Pale pink in color, Champagne Rosé Vintage opens to the nose with a complex fruity bouquet of red berry fruit and citrus peel, enriched with floral notes and spicy hints of cocoa. On the palate it is rich and fleshy, with fruity aromas and a pleasant touch of minerality.
This fine Champagne is perfect to accompany delicate appetizers and fish dishes. Try it in combination with the refined scallop and corn soup.
