Description

Rocca di Montegrossi's Chianti Classico originates from Gaiole in Chianti, in the historic heart of Chianti Classico. It is created from a blend predominantly of Sangiovese, complemented by small percentages of Canaiolo and Colorino; it represents an authentic expression of the territory, capable of combining typicity, elegance, and stylistic coherence.

The vinification process includes temperature-controlled fermentation in steel to preserve aromatic integrity and expressive precision; this is followed by maturation in vitrified cement tanks and large French oak vats, a process that allows the wine to develop structure and balance while maintaining a lively fruity and territorial character.

In the glass, it shows a brilliant ruby red color; on the nose, it reveals aromas of fresh cherry, berries, and subtle floral notes, accompanied by spicy nuances and delicate balsamic hints; on the palate, it is harmonious and dynamic, with well-defined tannins, pleasant freshness, and a persistent, savory finish.

It pairs perfectly with first courses with meat sauces, roasts, grilled meats, and medium-aged cheeses, enhancing their flavors with balance and elegance.
