Colli della Toscana Centrale IGT Merlot Anima 2013 Vannicelli Fattoria Pozzolatico

The Colli Toscana Centrale Anima of Fattoria Pozzolatico was born from the vineyards of the Vannicelli family, located on the Florentine hills.

It is produced with 100% Merlot grapes, rigorously harvested by hand. The wine ages in wood for about 12 months before being bottled.

It has an elegant ruby red color, intense and impenetrable. The nose opens with hints of cherry jam, notes of berries and herbaceous nuances, which then leave room for spicy aromas including notes of pipe tobacco and black pepper. In the mouth it is warm and enveloping, with a remarkable structure, with well integrated and long-lasting tannins. At the end, pleasant flavors of ripe fruit return.

Perfect to accompany structured second courses based on red meats, it is ideal in combination with roast beef.
