Columbia Valley Cabernet Sauvignon AVA Grand Estates 2017 Columbia Crest

Cabernet Sauvignon Columbia Crest is produced in purity with grapes from Columbia Valley, a very large area of the state of Washington and of fundamental importance for viticulture.

With vineyards that enjoy maximum southern exposure and soils that undergo controlled irrigation, the grapes are harvested and de-stemmed to proceed with alcoholic fermentation. The wine ages mainly in French and American oak barrels for at least 17 months before being bottled and marketed.

Intense ruby red in color with violet reflections, it presents on the nose aromas of ripe black fruits, plum and notes of chocolate and vanilla that return to the palate with extreme softness. Great structure and complexity accompany a well-balanced sip also by velvety tannins, all before a medium-long and compact finish.
