Description
The Grosso Agontano Riserva by Garofoli is made from the finest grapes selected in the Rosso Conero area.
It is produced with 100% local red grapes, harvested exclusively by hand. After destemming and crushing, the grapes undergo maceration on the skins for 12-15 days. Ageing takes place in barrique for 12-18 months and for over 24 months in the bottle.
In the glass, this Riserva shows an intense ruby red color with garnet highlights. On the nose, it opens with notes of ripe fruit, marasca cherry, and spices. On the palate, it is soft and warm, with elegant tannins and a long persistence.
Perfect to accompany grilled red meats, roast game, and mature cheeses.
