Description

Blason d'Aussières is a blend of Syrah, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Carignan produced by the Domaine d'Aussières and belonging to the Corbières appellation.

Low yields per hectare and a careful selection of the grapes allow the best product to be vinified to arrive in the cellar. After fermentation, 20% of the wine obtained is aged in oak barrels for a period between 10 and 12 months.

Ruby red in color with violet reflections, it offers compact black fruits to the nose, clear hints of plum and blackberry that are balanced by spices such as pepper and cardamom and pleasant toasted notes. The full and satisfying sip is finished with soft tannins to restore excellent roundness and freshness, a full body and a long persistence.

Ideal for all courses based on red meats, it goes well with first courses with wild boar sauce or grilled meats.
