Description

It is a great classic from the French company Chapoutier. A Syrah capable of expressing the excellence of the Cote-Rotie in the Rhone Valley.

In this area, the undisputed king of the vineyard is Syrah, capable of giving profiles of great finesse and aroma. Les Bécasses is a 100% Syrah which is hand-harvested and fermented by its indigenous yeasts. 80% of the wine obtained ages in oak barrels for 14-16 months, while the remaining 20% ages in steel tanks.

Purple red, intense and impenetrable. The nose features notes of raspberry, violet and a spicy varietal stamp, against the intriguing background of aromatic herbs. It confirms its exuberant and profound personality on the palate.

To be combined with a fillet of beef with mushrooms.
