Description

What kind of wine is it?

Côtes de Provence Blanc by Château Peyrassol is a blend of Vermentino and Ugni Blanc. It displays a fresh and pleasant profile, with a light structure and lively aromas. The winemaking process follows traditional methods with temperature control after gentle pneumatic pressing, ensuring a balance between freshness and elegance. Its approachable style suits friendly gatherings and is ready for immediate enjoyment.

Where does it come from?

Produced in the heart of the Côtes de Provence, it comes from vineyards grown on clay and limestone soils in the inland valleys. The northern exposure helps preserve freshness; the soils are rich in clay and limestone. The mineral-rich terrain gives the wine pronounced sapidity.

How is it made?

Hand-picked and carefully selected ripe grapes ensure the quality of the blend. After soft pneumatic pressing, vinification follows traditional methods with temperature control to preserve primary aromas. Viticulture practices include sowing cereals between the rows. Aging on fine lees in stainless steel enhances roundness and aromatic intensity.

Tasting notes

In the glass, the wine shows a bright golden color with green highlights. The nose reveals white flowers and ripe pear, followed by notes of lemon and acacia honey. On the palate, it's light and lively, with a silky texture that makes it easy to drink. The sapidity and lingering citrus finish support its freshness and complexity.

Food pairings

This white wine pairs well with fish and seafood dishes, such as sea bream ceviche. It's also ideal with seafood risotto and fresh goat cheeses. Its delicacy enhances the soft texture of the fish, while the citrus note elevates light dressings and the herbs typical of Mediterranean cuisine.

When to serve it

It is best served chilled, especially in spring and summer. Ideal for young drinking, it best expresses its liveliness and aromas in the first years. Its balanced structure and good acidity make it perfect for convivial outdoor occasions, offering a pleasant and refreshing sensation.
