Description
The Côtes-du-Rhône Sceau du Prince by Cellier des Princes is produced from 40-50 year old vines.
The wine is a blend mostly of Grenache grapes with small additions of Syrah and Mourvèdre, which are destemmed and fermented for 3-4 weeks at 27-32°C. A 6-month refinement in concrete tanks follows.
Intense ruby red in color with purple reflections, it reveals aromas of red fruits and spices to the nose. The sip is soft and slender, with silky tannins.
Ideal for grilled steak with roast potatoes, pizza or grilled cockerel.
