Description
What type of wine it is
Côtes du Rhône Blanc Sélection by Cellier des Princes is a white wine from the Rhône Valley obtained from a blend of Grenache Blanc, Clairette, Roussanne, Viognier, Marsanne and Bourboulenc. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at low temperature and without malolactic fermentation, to maintain a fresh and well-defined profile. The sip is harmonious and balanced, with a medium body, good sapidity and a persistent finish.
Where it comes from
This wine originates in the Rhône Valley, in the Côtes du Rhône area, where traditional white grape varieties contribute to a recognizable style. The grapes come from vineyards situated on clay-limestone soils, a key element for the balance between fruit expression and gustatory tension.
How it is produced
The grapes are hand-harvested, then selected and destemmed. After pressing, the must ferments in steel at low temperature, a choice that preserves purity and aromatic expression. The absence of malolactic fermentation maintains freshness, while aging in steel for at least three months precedes bottling, keeping a linear and precise style.
Tasting notes
In the glass it shows a bright straw yellow color. The bouquet is delicate, with notes of citrus and white flowers. The palate is harmonious and balanced, with hints of peach and apricot well integrated with nuances of wild herbs; the good sapidity accompanies a rich and persistent finish.
Perfect pairings
It pairs well with white meats and vegetable first courses, such as vegetarian lasagna, where freshness and sapidity support the creamy component. It is also recommended with lake fish, thanks to its medium body and citrusy profile. It goes well with boards of semi-aged cheeses, in balance with its persistence.
When to serve
This is a white wine suitable both for an aperitif and for meals when you desire a fresh and well-defined glass. It gives its best served chilled, so the citrus and white flower aromas as well as the balance on the palate stand out clearly. Vinification and aging in steel enhance the fruit fragrance and sapidity.
