Description
This Grand Cru red wine from Domaine Jacques Prieur was born in a vineyard plot of 0.36 hectares, in the Echézeaux appellation.
It is made entirely of Pinot Noir grapes, which are first destemmed. This is followed by fermentation lasting 17 days at a controlled temperature in open wooden vats. The aging takes place in oak barrels for 21 months.
Ruby red in color with violet hues, it expresses itself on the nose with aromas of berries and sweet spices. The sip is juicy, with a refined and persistent finish.
To pair with red meats and game, both roasted and stewed.
