Description

What kind of wine is it?

The Etna Bianco by Inessa is a Sicilian white wine that embodies the character of the Etnean slope. Its identity is built upon a fresh and elegant style, supported by a pronounced mineral note. The linear, well-defined structure offers a clear reading of the volcanic terroir and ensures a smooth and persistent drinkability. The balance between acidity and savoriness makes this label an essential and consistent expression of mountain viticulture.

Where does it come from?

The grapes come from the territory of Linguaglossa, located on the slopes of Mount Etna, where the vineyards lie at an altitude between 650 and 700 meters above sea level. This area is characterized by particularly fertile volcanic soils, which give the wine its distinctive savory sensations. The microclimate ensures a remarkable temperature variation between day and night, a crucial factor for maintaining the freshness and aromatic clarity of the grapes.

How is it produced?

Winemaking follows a traditional white vinification, aimed at preserving the purity of the fruit and defining the territorial profile. After harvest, fermentation is carefully managed to enhance the integrity of the aromatic components. The subsequent aging in steel entirely excludes any wood maturation, a deliberate choice to highlight its mineral character and fragrance. The result is a glass built on technical precision that guarantees great taste continuity.

Tasting notes

Bright straw yellow in appearance, which promises a sensory profile focused on immediacy. The nose opens with intense mineral notes, quickly joined by hints of yellow-fleshed fruit, white flowers, and fresh aromatic herbs. On the palate, it shows great balance between freshness and a saline streak, progressing in an orderly fashion. The finish is pleasantly persistent, closing the sip and leaving a clear and consistent memory of its origins.

Food pairings

Its pronounced acidity makes it ideal for accompanying delicate fish dishes, where the wine’s structure does not overpower the essential flavors. Pairing with shellfish comes naturally and harmoniously, thanks to the contrast between the sweetness of the flesh and the wine’s mineral tension. It is also recommended with vegetarian first courses, especially when the recipes include seasonal vegetables and fresh herbs that recall the aromas in the glass.

When to serve it

This label is perfect for occasions that call for a clean aromatic profile, offering both drinkability and a clear expression of terroir. It is best enjoyed in convivial moments or at the table, especially when the menu centers on seafood or vegetables. Its direct, defined taste makes it the right choice to enhance flavor harmony and always provides a persistent finish and a great feeling of freshness on the palate.
