Etna DOC Bianco Contrada Taccione 2022 Planeta

Planeta's Etna Bianco comes from the Montelaguardia vineyard, located in the municipality of Castiglione di Sicilia, in the province of Catania.

It is obtained only from Carricante grapes, harvested in crates in the first two weeks of October and subjected to careful selection upon arrival in the cellar. After a soft pressing of the grapes and the decantation of the must, fermentation takes place mainly in stainless steel at a controlled temperature of 15 ° C and for the remainder in Allier oak tonneaux. The wine ages in the same containers on the fine lees until the end of March.

It has a straw yellow color. On the nose it is multifaceted and delicate, lingering on notes of white acacia flowers, fresh almonds and mountain peaches. The taste is voluminous, rich in juice and fruity scents reminiscent of yellow plums and prickly pears.

This white is excellent in combination with first courses and fish carpaccio. Moreover, he does not disdain fresh cheeses and fresh fruit. Ideal as an aperitif.
