Etna Rosso Contrada Santo Spirito DOC Particella 466 2017 Palmento Costanzo

Contrada Santo Spirito is the cru of Palmento Costanzo and represents the highest expression of the winery, born from vineyards from 80 to 100 years of age located at a height of 700-800 meters above sea level.

The harvest takes place manually with selection on the plant. The must ferments in truncated conical French oak vats with selected indigenous yeasts. After the malolactic fermentation, it ages in oval French oak barrels for 24 months and then for 12 months in the bottle.

It has a brilliant ruby red color. The nose offers intense and elegant notes of small red fruits, with persuasive nuances of flint. In the mouth it is rich and enveloping, with a tannic texture in perfect balance with the salty finish typical of the area of origin.

Excellent in combination with first courses with meat sauce, cold cuts and red meats.
