Description
The Isola dei Nuraghi Rosso Turriga wine from Cantina Argiolas comes from the vineyards of the homonymous estate, located in Selegas, Sardinia.
It is produced from carefully selected grapes, fermented at a controlled temperature of 28 - 32 ° C and macerated for about 16 - 18 days, with good use of the delestage technique. The wine is then placed in new French oak barrels where it rests for 18 - 24 months and, once bottled, it is refined for another 12 - 14 months.
Turriga is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with a rich and complex bouquet, in which hints of red fruits and wood and notes of aromatic spices and graphite stand out. On the palate it is balanced, fine and persistent, with an excellent structure.
Perfect to accompany game and game, it is ideal in combination with spiced red meats and aged cheeses, in particular Sardinian pecorino.
