Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc GI 2023 Mount Riley

Sauvignon Mount Riley is produced with grapes from different plots located in the New Zealand region of Marlborough, in the northeastern part of the South Island.

With large temperature ranges and vineyards protected from cold winds thanks to the island's main mountain range, the grapes are destemmed and crushed before starting fermentation with selected yeasts. Fermentation takes place in steel at low temperatures to preserve the aromatic component of the wines as much as possible.

Straw yellow in color with greenish reflections, it has a delicate nose of elderflower and gooseberry, with notes of green pepper and lime. On the palate it is medium-bodied, provided with a refreshing acidity, with shades of white pulp fruit and green tea.

Ideal wine for seafood first courses and soft cheeses, it also goes very well with savory aperitifs based on quiche Lorraine and Russian salad.
