Médoc AOC 2014 Château Haut Grignon
Description
Château Haut Grignon Cru Bourgeois was born in vineyards located in the heart of the AOC Médoc, within the renowned Bordeaux wine region.
It is mainly produced with Cabernet Sauvignon grapes and with Merlot and Petit Verdot grapes, harvested entirely by hand at full maturity. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature. Subsequently the wine ages for 14 months in French oak barrels and for another 24 months in bottle, before being marketed.
Château Haut Grignon is characterized by an intense ruby red color. The nose opens with elegant aromas of black fruits and cedar. On the palate it is medium bodied, with strong tannins and a spicy touch in the finish.
Perfect to accompany red meat cooked on the grill or roasted, this wine is ideal in combination with game and aged cheeses.
