Description

The Montepulciano d'Abruzzo of Tenuta Ulisse was born in the heart of the Abruzzo wine region.

It is produced entirely from Montepulciano d'Abruzzo grapes selected and harvested by expert hands at the beginning of October. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, for about 15 - 20 days. The wine ages first in stainless steel tanks and then for a further 3 months in the bottle.

It is characterized by an intense ruby red color with violet reflections. The nose opens with a bouquet of ripe berry fruit such as blueberries, blackberries and black cherry. On the palate it is pleasantly full, full-bodied and round. It gives a persistent finish with sweet and velvety tannins.

It is perfect in combination with roasts and game recipes, it is ideal for accompanying seasoned cheeses and chocolate.
