Napa Valley Sauvignon Blanc AVA 2019 Duckhorn

Sauvignon Blanc from Duckhorn is made exclusively from grapes harvested on the estate, located in the heart of Napa Valley.

It is mainly produced with Sauvignon Blanc grapes and with Sémillon grapes which give greater complexity. Once fermented for 21 days at low temperature, the wine ages for 5 months in steel and for a small part in French oak barrels.

The color is pale straw yellow. The nose releases seductive aromas of lemongrass and lychee, followed by hints of passion fruit, melon and pineapple. On the palate it is juicy and balanced, with a refreshing acidity that enhances the citrus, sapid and tropical fruit sensations.

Excellent in the company of grilled white meats, it is a delicacy in combination with a tuna tartare but also with egg and vegetable based appetizers.
