Pouilly-Fumé AOC Le Champ des Vignes 2022 Marquis de Goulaine

Poully-Fumé Marquis de Goulaine is a pure Sauvignon Blanc coming from the eastern territories of the Loire.

As a typical expression of Sauvignon Blanc, this wine retains some smoky notes which find its main origin precisely in the provenance from predominantly calcareous soils located on the eastern side of the Loire river. After harvesting and pressing the grapes, the must ferments at low temperatures for 20 days in steel and ages in contact with the fine lees for a few months before being bottled.

Straw yellow in color with some greenish reflections, it combines tropical fruits with brighter herbaceous tones. On the palate it is savory and able to alternate green apple and lime with hints of sage, for a refreshing and agile sip, of medium-long duration.

The ideal wine for semi-mature cheeses and seafood dishes or fried fish.
