Description

The Primitivo di Manduria Raccontami di Vespa comes from vineyards located in the DOC Primitivo di Manduria.

It is produced exclusively with Primitivo grapes, carefully picked and selected by hand, in the first half of September. Fermentation takes place, with maceration on the skins, for 10 days, with numerous punching down. After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in French oak barriques for 4 months before being placed on the market.

This Primitivo is characterized by a dark ruby red color. The nose opens with notes of spices and berries, enriched with hints of vanilla and licorice. In the mouth it is shown, soft and velvety, with persuasive and elegant tannins and a pleasantly persistent finish.

Perfect to accompany cold cuts and cured meats, red meats and aged cheeses, Raccontami proves excellent also as a meditation wine.
