Description
Reggiano Lambrusco Spumante Rubino del Cerro by Venturini Baldini is produced from the vineyards of the Roncolo Estate, in the heart of the Reggiano DOP.
It comes from clones of Lambrusco Montericco, Salamino, and Grasparossa, harvested in the first ten days of September. After red fermentation at a controlled temperature, the sparkling process takes place following the Charmat Lungo Method, lasting 9–15 months.
The Rubino del Cerro by Venturini Baldini displays a brilliant ruby red color. The bouquet is rich, clean, and fruity, with notes of morello cherry, wild berries, and ripe plum, accompanied by hints of dark spices. On the palate, it is full-bodied, balanced, and savory.
Perfect for the whole meal, it's ideal with elaborate first courses, aged cheeses, boiled meats, and red meats.
This sparkling Lambrusco is well known internationally because it's among the favorites of Formula One driver Michael Schumacher.
