Description

The Ron Centenario 12 Year Old by Flor de Caña is produced in the Chinandega region, in Nicaragua, made from proprietary molasses and sugar cane juice, and aged for 12 years in small oak barrels that previously contained bourbon.

Amber red in color, Flor de Caña's Ron Centenario 12 Year Old opens to the nose with hints of nougat and almond butter, accompanied by notes of honey and sherry. In the mouth it proves elegant and sweet, with a finish of spices, caramel and toasted oak.

This rum is perfect as a meditation distillate, possibly accompanied by a good cigar.
