Rosso di Montalcino DOC 2021 Podere Brizio

Rosso di Montalcino by Podere Brizio is an organic wine that comes from the hills (330-350 meters above sea level) of the famous village of Montalcino. The labels depict the Parpagliola, a 10 quattrini silver coin minted in 1556, symbol of the resistance of the republic of Siena.

It is produced exclusively with Sangiovese grapes that are vinified with spontaneous fermentation induced by indigenous yeasts. The refinement takes place in 54 hl non-toasted French oak barrels for about 12 months and ends with a stay in the bottle for at least 3 months.

The wine is presented in the glass with a lively ruby red color. The nose reveals hints of ripe red fruit, tobacco, leather, black pepper and balsamic notes. The sip is structured, with excellent acidity and dense tannins.

Perfect to accompany rich appetizers of fresh and aged cured meats, cheeses and pasta with meat sauce and baked.
