Description
El Transistor is a white wine by Telmo Rodríguez, produced in the village of La Seca, in the heart of Rueda, and is made exclusively from Verdejo grapes cultivated in old bush vines located in the areas of El Monte and Valdelaíno. The project reflects a deep understanding of the land and a respectful approach to tradition, with limited yields and a manual selection of bunches that contribute to the consistent quality of the product.
The vinification involves the use of indigenous yeasts and takes place in cement containers, wooden barrels, and foudres of various sizes, ensuring a balanced aging. The wine matures for about 6-7 months, during which it acquires structure and complexity. This process respects the typicality of the grape variety and enhances the peculiarities of the fluvial origin soil with the presence of Quaternary gravels.
In the glass, it presents an authentic and precise profile, elegantly expressing the varietal characteristics of Verdejo. Notes of citrus emerge, with herbal nuances and a delicate minerality that blend into a dynamic and well-balanced taste profile, supported by a pleasant freshness and a persistent finish.
Perfectly paired with grilled fish or seafood dishes, it also enhances simple vegetarian dishes.
