Description
This Grillo from Mandrarossa features one of the most representative and appreciated white grape varieties. The vineyards from which it originates are located in Menfi and are characterized by a southern and southeastern exposure and sandy, calcareous soils.
The grapes are harvested during the first week of September. After undergoing a brief cold maceration, the must ferments for 15-20 days at a temperature maintained between 16 and 18°C. This is followed by 4 months of aging in stainless steel tanks.
In the glass, it shows a straw yellow color with greenish hues. The bouquet expresses intense and vibrant aromas of prickly pear, loquat, and grapefruit, with elegant notes of basil. On the palate, it is fresh, intense, and pleasant.
Ideal with grilled vegetables and roasted fish, it is excellent with seafood.
