Description

The Riesling of the "Graf" line is a refined white wine from Cantina Merano, produced with Riesling grapes grown in the high areas of Merano and Val Venosta, at an altitude of between 600 and 750 meters. The vines, which are 15 to 20 years old, are rooted in light and permeable soils of moraine origin, ideal for the expressiveness of this demanding and complex vine.

The vinification involves whole bunch pressing and spontaneous fermentation in small stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature, without malolactic fermentation. The wine then ages on the lees for about 6 months, refining its aromatic characteristics and developing a balanced and mineral structure.

In the glass it presents a greenish yellow color. On the nose, intense fruity notes of peach, citrus and flint emerge, which give a fresh and complex aromatic profile. On the palate, a lively acidity is appreciated, well structured and balanced, which closes with a pleasant and long persistence.

It is the ideal accompaniment for seafood, oysters, Asian recipes and appetizers.
