Südtirol - Alto Adige DOC Chardonnay Pichl 2017 Cortaccia

The Alto Adige Chardonnay Pichl by Kurtatsch Cortaccia was born in the Pichl vineyard of the same name, located on a limestone slope facing southwest in the steep hamlet of Penone.

It is produced exclusively with Chardonnay grapes. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Subsequently, the wine is refined in the same containers before being bottled.

It is characterized by a straw yellow color. The nose opens with delicate aromas of banana, enriched with elegant hints of vanilla, sponge cake and dried fruit. On the palate it is fiery and pleasantly fresh. The wine has a pleasant aroma of lemon peel, accompanied by light balsamic aromas.

Perfect to accompany aperitifs and appetizers, it is ideal in combination with fish-based dishes.
